Yes. Flirting is a sin. The only way to make it right is to actually go through with it.

Flirt! Sin! I don't know from where the world draws the parallelism. When the creation of the human mankind itself is bound to a sexual process, no one can argue flirt to be a sin. As far as the case of one partner and many, is concerned, flirting owes to the search of the right partner. Extent to which a human goes in the process is all relative, and in no sense it is a sin.
Next, about you being not attracted to the girls you flirt, it is natural, the day you will find the one you are actually compatible with, you will feel the attraction. And, keep one thing in mind, if you flirt a lot, people know about it, and still if they come to you, when you flirt, means you are neither wrong nor sinful.
Enjoy life as it comes, don't worry about the future you cannot control and the past you cannot change, enjoy and live in present.

Jesus told us to follow the law. The law of the prophets was the criminal code of his time and Jesus was a law abiding citizen who followed the rules of his society. He paid his taxes and followed the laws, like we all should do. But the Mosaic code is not the law of our society.
I am not gay, but I bet you that none of the people casting stones on homosexuals are free of sin. They bother a lot about other people’s sexual life, as a way to forget about their own transgressions. We would see many people pulling off their eyes and choping off their hands if they were trully following the teachings of Jesus Christ (Mat 5: 29-30). Pharisess, Ashley! That's what they are.
In my opinion, sex is a sin if you take advantage of another person’s love for your own pleasure. It is a sin if is egotistical, inconsequential or done indiscriminately.
Nobody can convince me that abusing a child is a lesser sin than telling a lie, or that having sex is as bad as killing someone. Any God that says so is not the God of love and forgiveness that is on the Gospels! That’s a distortion of Jesus teachings and as a matter of fact, that’s the real sin!
He said that you will recognize the trees by the fruits. So, is love a sin? Is its consummation an act of abomination as many want you to believe?
So, ask yourself if these things make sense and live your life respecting other people, abiding the laws, and being honest and true to yourself and your conscience. If you want to have sex, do it responsibly and if possible make love and not just sex. Good sense is a gift from above and blind faith is the cause of all wars and intolerance in this world of ours.
Mat 7:7-12 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

Depends on who is getting hurt. Got a partner of your own to upset? No? Then who cares! Have they got partners with them that you might be upsetting? No? Then no drama. Are they getting pissed off with you leading them on (that's what it is you know) then you can deal with that. In these circumstances it's not a 'sin'.
Having said that - take a long hard look at yourself and assess the real reasons for 'flirting' as you call it.
I believe flirting is a natural tool used in selecting potential mates and showing interest in the effort to reproduce. That's getting down to extreme basics/animal behaviour.
So I can't imagine why you would feel the need to flirt if you weren't attracted to these people?

Flirting is a greater sin that actually doing something.
There is a bigger issue here. You say twice that you are not attracted to women but you flirt with them. Either you are a sadist or you are lying to yourself. Most likely you are lying to yourself. Why not become honest with yourself. Either way you are going to hell, unless of course you do not believe in it.

Ashley, let me tell you that christians will say that EVERYTHING is a sin! They will tell you that you will go to hell no matter how good a person you are. What you need to focus on is to be yourself. If you like to flirt with other girls, dive in and forget the garbage christians try to leave out on your lawn. If you do ever want to "taste from the other cup", then go for it. You are who you are and you should be appreciated for being that person and not criticized. Flirt on!

wow, how dumb is that God..
flirting is one of the tools of mateing, dude, just wait, one day it will jump in you lap and you wont know what to do with it.
Sounds like you need some teaching on the acts of Satan on the mind of young men, who make them think they have no desire, yet, deep in them they do, cause they flirt. Satan is a lire, you like women girls and ladys. You just dont want to get caught.
Keep it up, you will sin. In you mind, first, then you will act out your mind. If you thought it, you did it, and its a sin.

If you have malice in your heart while committing a selfish and self-serving act then you may want to pray about it and direct your energy to a more useful and positive purpose.
Do you believe that you are committing a sin by not being honest with them or yourself?

hun, you sin all the time...as far as I know, you're not going to hell. That's why Jesus died, remember? That dude with the crown of thorns, that was nailed up there so you could be forgiven for flirting with other women? You're fine. Just as long as no one gets hurt.

YOUR QUESTION OR ASSUMPTION IS TOPSY TURVY OR HIPOCRITIC.TO HAVE NO INTEREST IN OPPSITE GENDER BODIES AND YET FEEL THRILL BY FLIRTING WITH THEM IS LIKE SAYING YOU LIKE TO WASH FACE AND COMB YOUR SELF NICELY BUT YOU DO NOT CARE TO LOOK YOUR SELF IN THE MIRROR.FLIRTING IS GRAVE SIN BECAUSE YOU AROUSE SOME HOPES,EXPECTATIONS,FEELINGS IN SOME OF THEM AND THEN DASH THESE WITHOUT FULFILLING THEM..REAL GENTLEMEN NEVER FLIRT,THEY ONLY ASSERT IF AND WHEN THEY FIND WHAT THEY WANT.DO NOT WORRY IF YOU DO NOT GO TO HELL FOR THIS. IN TIME,HELL IT SELF WILL COME TO YOU AS A BETRAYAL,TREASON OR FRAUD TO OBLIGE YOU TO TASTE WHAT YOU MADE OTHERS TO TASTE. AROUSING HOPES-DESIRES IN OTHERS AND THEN DASHING THEM IS LIKE CONCIEVING A BABY AND THEN ABORTING IT..HEAVY PUNISHMENT IS RESERVED FOR SUCH ACTS.MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON SUCH MISGUIDED SOULS.REMEBER,SIN IS MOTHER OF SORROW AND SORROW IS MOTHER OF EARLY DEATH. gfr.
