people keep saying this and i don't understand a crap. can you believe without a brain? if there is a spiritual connection how can you explain majority of the muslims living in africa and asia while christians living in europe and america and buddhists in china and japan and that sort of countries? it is clearly you believe what you have been taught. you are afraid of this story of hell. yes, maybe you really love the idea of god, maybe it gives you peace but what if the god you believe is not the god really existing ? what you will say when he ask "for what reason you believe this certain relegion?" (even if this god is yours and just want to know why?) being an atheist i'm asking this question to myself and i can't answer back. there would be a god but who is he i have no idea. is he good, bad or careless i have no idea. do you think this "belief" word is gonna save you before the real god ? at least i will say i was uncertain and i don't like to pretend.

Belief is just a short way of saying, something you think to be true most likely because it is all you know and accepeted by the limited beings that forced it down you throat.....Unless you use your own brain for the purpose you have it.......to think for yourself and to be your own authority. Then your belief can be of more importance to you. Because it is totally yours. Be the shepard not the sheep. Good Journey!

There is a revelation. You either believe it or you don't. An atheist (from the Greek word "without God") has heard the biblical message and rejected it.

An agnostic (from the Greek word "know")has heard the biblical message and is unable to accept or reject it.

Belief is something that's not yet "known."

I have no problem believing in what I view as positive, even if it's still a theory. It's called "faith" and it's better than having nothing.

Many would freak if the "unknown" would present itself...
Some would just gain knowledge.

In the end, God really doesn't care about your pride and arrogance getting in the way of belief in Him. Regardless of whether or not you believe in Jesus, He is God and He is there, and we will all have to stand in front of Him one day.
