I just played soccer yesterday for the first time in two years. We played for nearly two hours. Afterwards I did yoga for another two hours.
This morning I woke up on the couch with severe soreness.
During soccer I had fallen and hurt my back, but I am sore everywhere. It isn't a serious PAIN but it is very very sore feeling. My legs, my back, my ribs and abs all hurt. My mom seems to think there is something wrong with me. Or is this just the outcome of being severely unfit and then diving into the game?

I am 15, and I definitely do not exercise regularly.
I didn't do much for two years. I got kicked out of school and got depressed and it was cold and I didn't feel like doing much. In the summer, I am active, I hike, swim, play tennis, ect. In the winter, I do nothing.
So I was def. unfit, and didn't have much stretching or practice before the game (I was also a midfielder the very first 30 minutes, nonstop.)

haha, yes, the soreness is from your muscles not having had a workout like that for a very long time! Don't sweat it unless the pain is intense. Just rest, it will probably even hurt more tomorrow, but do some stretching and walking to help it out, and you can also take Ibuprofen (Advil) for the pain.

You've probably got it right. You're just very out of shape and you might be in even more pain tomorrow. Sometimes the second day is the worst. Soak in a spa or bathtub, get a gentle massage if you can (or try to gently massage your muslces yourself), stretch gently, and take some ibuprofin. I know how you feel. It's amazing how incredibly sore you can be after a long, hard workout if you haven't done it in awhile. I'm sure you'll be fine, but make sure your back is ok. If the pain lingers and/or is more of a specific, sharp, stabbing pain, then take extra care and rest. And maybe see a doctor. Keep exercising!

You also didn't mention your age.

But yes, if you exercise regularly then exercise is no problem.

Also if you don't stretch properly before an activity (even golf or skiing) then this can be a problem.

It is common for people to try and dive into exercise and the next day they are very sore. Try taking up body building, maybe 80% of people quit after the first day because you are so sore (I am sure this is how gyms make their money).
