DOS just pops up for a second and dissapears. Thanks for the help

it pops up and dissappears, im using Windows XP. Thanks for any help

I've only seen that happen when you run command line (ms-dos) applications and they finish very fast, like ipconfig from the run command.
Try typing 'cmd' from the start->run command...
If it's windows 95, 98 or ME i think you have to type 'command' instead of 'cmd'

Yes if you have Windows 7 Pro just run the XP Mode emulator, basically a virtual XP Machine running on windows 7

What do you do that makes DOS pop up for a second? Have you tried "Start -> run "cmd.exe""? - I think - I don't use Windows.

Start > Run > type "cmd" or "command" and it will stay up
shortcut: press Start key + r then type "cmd"
or "calc" for calculator or "notepad" for notepad, etc

What operating system are you trying to run it in?
