R&S has taught me to not be afraid to try to demonstrate what I've learned, or to admit to being wrong. Honestly, now I'm not afraid to say what I am, or why I am.

I do not have a faith - however it has shown me that I'm not alone in being an atheist, and many share the same worries about extreme religions

It has taught me that there are many more people in the world who are comforted by the piece of the Lord than I thought.

its easier to get a point across when tempers aren't heated and words flying...so you can be more precise and dedicated to giving a good answer.
it also helped me understand how different people think about different topics....and there are lots of them
but mostly it has taught me that my choice is right for me and other peoples choice is right for them....and all we can do is help to each other to see and understand the differences...and the similarities of all religions

Oddly that all the other Asatruars on here also seem to have red hair!
Seriously though, it has taught me that there are some good folk on here that even though I don't always agree with them 100% and even though they don't really know me, they will help me out when trolls attack.

I used to think all Christians spoke in tongues and ran around their church waving their arms...now I realize it's just the Pentacostals....I have learned the error of my ways....
