From the words of Jesus...Matt 24:42" Watch therefore for you know not what hour your Lord does come." Well people say watch for what? in Matt 24:33" So likewise ye when you shall see all these things know that it is near, even at the doors" He is talking about all the signs he lists in Matt 24.
Famines, earthquakes, wars, nation against nation, religious persecution etc etc well you say these have been going on for years which is true. But there is something in Matt 24 that pins it down so close its prophecy that has to be fulfilled which is in verse 15 which is referring to the antichrist defileing the temple in Jerusalem as first prophesied by Daniel in Daniel chapter 8.
For that prophecy to be fullfilled Israel had to be a nation again because their was no Israel for almost 2000 years.
And Israel had to have control over Jerusalem in order to have a temple again.
May 14, 1948 Israel became a nation. June 6, 1967 regains control over Jerusalem.
Matt 24:34 Jesus said" This generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled"
All these things would be fulfilled in one generation. All the signs he detailed which could only be fulfilled after Israel became a nation again!

Bible prophecy must be fulfilled before the return of Jesus Christ. The probability of this happening in our lifetime is high, as the sign of the times indicate world events that are bringing us closer at an accelerated pace....... The terrifying weapons developed and manufactured using modern technology are an indication that the terrible time of trouble may be much nearer than we might think. Nations have already stockpiled more than enough weapons to annihilate all human life from the face of the earth. Rogue nations increasingly gain the ability to produce and use horrifying weapons of mass destruction.Even more frightful are terrorist groups, unable to attain their goals by conventional arms or diplomacy, that now have access to such deadly weapons. Respected international-security advisers warn that the danger of nuclear weapons being used by terrorist nations or groups grows ever higher. Nuclear weapons are only one of several means of mass destruction available to amoral terrorists bent on achieving their ends by any means, including mass carnage.

I read a book once, though the book was on prayer and fasting, suggested that it is the believers that keep the messiah from returning. In this book the writer, who was a christian pastor book was copyrighted 1974, claims that it is the prayer of the righteous that keeps the light of God here on earth and that He will only return when the get really bad.
When will He return, when morality is destroyed, seems we are doing a great job of that through out the world and especially here in the US, but is has got to get worst. scary

The Word of God says that no man knows the day nor the hour when the Son of Man shall appear. On over in the Book of Revelation it says that not even Jesus knows when God will give Him the go ahead to return. May God Bless U.

Jesus told the disciples only the Father knows this, I only know he got a round trip ticket, he is about to come back. I do have a clue, When the earth starts doing crazy things, and people start dieing, then the return is near us. due to heavens kingdom is in our atmosphere, earth is going to shake, and men's hearts are going to fail them. Its like a magnet north and south, the pulling agents each other will cause earth to fall off its acts a little, then all hell will brake loose, Jesus is coming is going to be a surprise. But we will know the season. its not here yet. But coming.

Jesus is stupid, as are Christians and the worthless bible. Yep it's 2012. Definitely. And if Jesus Presly misses that tour date, it will probbaly be 2022. Gee Einstein, how many times do you think this stupid question has come up since 34 AD?
Somewhere in France, 1652 "Ho ho ho hoooooo (french man laughing)! Francois, I think Jesus will return ANY DAY NOW, especially since my life is in a shamble."
Let me close with this...**** OFF!!!

While that sounds logical Jesus told us "No man knows the day, or the hour when the Son of Man returns." and "Be ready for the Son of Man comes as a thief in the night." so that would make sense, but likely would happen when we least expect.

Jesus Christ gave us the time frame of His second coming. He did not have the true date as He had yet to return to is rightful place in Heaven. We know the season and the season is now. Prepare yourself and be ready daily.><>

It’s so typical of those writers to say no one knows. There’s nothing like a good mystery and they knew that. The fact of the matter is that they (and their Jesus) thought they were living in the end times (and Revelation 1:1 actually proves it). Meanwhile, two millennia later, nothing. One can safely say they were all one of the following (or combinations).
1) lunatics
2) liars
3) mistaken
Now please let us stop frightening little children with all this doomsday nonsense.

It's not up to Jesus - He does not even know the hour
Only the Father knows
and since Jesus was born (I believe) 4 BC (error in calendars)
would that be AD 2029?
Nope - not guessing - all prophecy has been fulfilled -
I am waiting to hear the trumpet, prepared for any day!
here are two books that were mailed to me -
and they both missed
blessings!
