Is it possible to get TV stations up there?

Would you want someone watching TV while they are driving the LA Freeway? When you are the pilot in command, you are responsible for the safety of everyone on the aircraft and need to focus on flying.

If you had a laptop with a TV tuner card it *might* be possible to pickup a signal but it probably wouldn't be very good or hold very long, since the plane is moving. Trying to watch it would be distracting and dangerous.

not as the pilot...yes you can get some TV stations up there....If you have an old ADF you can also pick up AM stations up there.... Some Private planes have auto pilot but i wouldn't trust them for TV watching...besides most private planes are so tight in the front there wouldn't be room for a TV.

If the pilot were to watch TV the plane would crash. Just like driving and watching TV. It doesnt work.
