Well, even if two people face the same illness...they more than likely have different circumstances within their lives that clue into the Big G's answer. We don't know the way of the Big G...just have faith that he does answer and that even though his answer might not be what we WANT, its usually better than it could be and has its own reasoning.

God ALWAYS answers prayer. The answer may be yes, no or wait
Every one has an appointed time to die. If it is your time, God answers no and takes you.
Another thing. Just because you want a difficulty taken away doesn't mean God does.
The Apostle Paul asked God three times to remove a thorn in his side: Most people believe it was his eyes he had trouble with.
Each time God did not remove it. After the third time, Paul said since it isn't your will, then your grace is sufficient for me: Paul accepted the decision and let it go.
It is not God playing favorites, it is His will.
He has a plan for every one and maybe removing what you see as a difficulty is actually an asset to Him.
If He doesn't remove it, thank Him for it and move on.
Paul said, in everything give thanks for this is the will of God

I believe God is not biased towards any one person. He loves each and every person. That is a difficult ? to say why one person might be cured and one isn't, but i don't think it is because God loves one more than the other i think it has to do with fullfilling God's calling upon your life and the perfect timing that He has. Only God knows the number of days that i and you likewise will be alive on this earth. He has called us to evangelize and live for Him but only He knows when we have lived our last hour. As far as being partiall to those who praise Him...No he loves the praises of His people. The Bible says that he is enthroned upon them, but it never says that he loved "Billy's" praise more than "Sallie's" praise...You can find all your answers in the Bible. It is God's word, so you either believe all or none of it otherwise its pointless. You can't believe one section and not another because who is man to say which section is or isn't correct? I don't know where i was going with all that but yah so there it is in a rather long drawn out version

God never promised to remove our difficulties. He only promised to help us through them. In fact, the current belief that if you believe in God you will have health, wealth and an trouble free life is totally false! Jesus said that if you follow Him, you will be persecuted.
Also, God does not show favorites. We do not praise God because we expect something from Him; we praise Him because of Who He is. As far as the person who prayed and got well and the person who didn't died, it may be as simple as one asked and one didn't. James 4:2 says "you have not because you ask not." And while there are several scriptures that say that you can ask God for something and He will give it to you, they are not blank checks. All of those verses presuppose that the asker has a personal relationship with Jesus and that he/she is seeking to know and do the will of God.

The Bible says that God allows the sun to rise on the evil and the good and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
It's not about praise it's about faith.
But I am sure there are some atheist (did I spell that right) that have been healed.
One thing I know God loves us. I can't see behind the scenes, but I believe what he says in word and trust him.

It says in the Bible that God is not respector of persons. It says that we are here for His pleasure. Your relationship depends on communication with Him, but there are many who praise and pray and live good moral lives who die agonizing deaths and live with terrible pain. I thing that what is going to happen is going to happen and that how you deal with it (prayer, praise etc) is the battle. He loves us all equally and knows that at times we will all fail HIm, but life is not a test where you are graded. The only answer God is interested in is whether you accept His Son as Your Savior.

Yes, it is like some robots you created. One will keep praising you. the other speaks the truth. You will like the one that praise you for no reasons. Flattery goes a long way.

Of course He is. Why would He not be? But those who believe are often subject to hardship too. But for those who believe and obey, He will never put more upon them than they can bear.
