Why are americans so afraid of mexicans?

I love that Question..wow..I agree...They are afraid of them..why i dont know..I'm not...Im getting married to a Mexican..and definately prefer mexicans over any american men...you're totally right..they are fun loving people..very family oriented and definately hard working..when they come over here..they do the jobs the lazy a$s americans wouldn't want to do...

I agree they are family oriented. And perhaps are good people. But when the middle and low class American people work there whole lives and are one step away from being homeless, can not afford meds and they are the ones that have medical coverage. the banks don"t give them loans or credit cards. But if you are Hispanic or Latino with out an U.S. ID you can get it. If you reside in Nevada you are required to get an Nevada ID. Not so for them. The can get any thing they want in America and if they do not know how to there are organizations that will service them with our tax dollars thank you. How can we have so many homeless and under privileged families suffering in this country and instead of helping them they are kick away to sleep behind trash cans any where they can place their heads. Our elderly are dying because they can not get help. Where are the organizations to help them off the streets I guess it is out of sight out of mind. Don"t get confused the American people are not afraid of them, they are tired of paying for non-citizens before our own people so I would suggest you do a little more studying or take to the streets for a week then come back and ask the question. You are confused between afraid and just down right MAD.

I'm not afraid,not at all,I grew up with them,married one and understand your point.Then again,the Mexicans I grew up with,were looked down upon by the new breed of rancheros etc that have come here in the last decade,because they dont speak spanish.They dont wave the Mexican flag above all the others.It seems the new breed is a different type,and thats too bad for the ones whom really are here to work hard and as honest as they can be(heck Ive even known some illegals that have tried to be as honest,except for crossing,go back at the failure of change in the society that has now become the mainstream

Why? Because they are brown and speak a different language and/or have a different culture. Not just Mexicans, not just "illegals", but American-born Latinos get the same crap. We are all lumped in together. Notice how everyone will assume you are a Mexican and that you are not legal.

If it was white immigrants, no one would care. Why does nobody ever complaint about undocumented European or Russian immingrants? They do exist, and they come over for many of the same reasons Mexicans come over. They are more common on the east coast of course, due to its proximity to Europe.

America is afraid of becoming a brown country plain and simple. The thing is, this was a land of brown people before the white immigrants came and slaughtered and divided everyone.

I'm not afraid of anybody. Yeah, we can all get along as long as everyone obeys the laws and stays in their own back yard.
And I don't have anything against the Mexicans. My main problem is with the people who hire illegal immigrants and a government that isn't interested in protecting the American middle class. If illegal immigrants keep flooding into this country and American jobs continue to be shipped overseas, it won't be very long before the illegal immigrants won't have anymore reason to want to come here. America will be just as poor as the place that they are trying to leave.

I would believe what you have to say when I stop viewing arrest reports for drug dealings, domestic violence reports against their wives and children, sexual assault and rape reports, or family dispute reports against brothers, fathers, uncles and such, as well as when they all stop hanging around the 7-11's and really get a job. And then you can tell me all about how wonderful Mexicans are.

Besides Rodney King was and still is a loser too.

I don't think I'm afraid of any one of them as individuals but ...I'm afraid of them ALL TOGETHER.

They will populate the USA out of existance ...or into poverty.
Could be painful to be around and witness it happen.

That's what I'm afraid of.
What will you do if you need work but there is none ...or it is being done so cheaply by the hungry Mexicano children (OK so they are now legal Americans because of anchor baby status or amnesty) that there is no chance for Americans who are willing to work?
What will happen when all the hospitals are broke and go out of biz and there is no where to go when injured?
What will happen if American children (including anchor babies et at) don't get proper educations because of the huge over population of the country with folks that can't or won't speak English?
What will happen when the basic middle class Americans is robbed blind by a desperate, taxing government, trying to pay for all the poverty, crime, graf, fraud, dope dealing illegals have ushered into the USA?

That's what I'm afraid of.

Funny see cause I deliver merchendise to construction sights as part of my job. The only thing to disappear faster than Houdini is a Mexican who just got asked a question. we aren't afraid of them, and we don't hate them. we hate illegal immigration, because it will turn our country into a third world county. The standard of living for everybody will go down to the level of the standard of living in mexico, except for the top 1%. Just like in mexico! that is just the way it is. and the only reason any non-illegal would support illegal immigration is if they had something to gain, or if they didn't know better.
