I had plans with my girlfriend to spend time together and go out. But a few of my friends are planning on visiting one of my old friends out of state to drink beer, shoot guns, and do some fishing. It's obvious which plans are more important as guns, beer and fishing are great superior to cuddling. But what would Jesus do?

Women come and go, but friends are forever. Loose the woman.

Personally, I would do exactly what I want to do... and if I was a guy I'd want to hang with my friends, get drunk, shoot and fish (but not exactly in that order!). I can understand the ladies' perspective but I think being true to yourself is most important. This is an extreme view, but a compromise here and a compromise there... before you know it you'll always be doing what she wants and never doing what you want. Maybe it's not like that, but if she's a good girlfriend she'd want you to be happy.

The beer and guns together converns me as an avid gun owner, but thats not the question. I can see you have your priorities in line, so now you have to be a man and tell her.Thats it man up and take what comes. thats the only option other than lying and that makes for a wonderful relationship. jsut out of curiousity, would she like to fish, drink beer and shoot something, besides you(haha).

You should not have made plans with her then. Whoever you made plans with first is who you should stick with. You would be disrespecting her by ditcing her for friends. If your friends are superior, then maybe do her a favor and split with her so you can have the freedom to do as you choose whenever you want. Then you only have to worry about you.

i was about to say go with the girl because she will be hurt...but its obvious you want to go off with your friends more so do that. Why stay with her if you think going off with your friends would be better. But if you really like her you would find a better way to handle it besides just ditching her. bring her along or ReALLY make it up to her the following week :]

What ever you do don't take her with you!!! Booze, guns, and missed cuddling plans make for a bloody scene on the 10 o'clock news. Good luck!

Jesus says enjoy heaven this weekend but be ready for hell when you get back... Flowers might help. BTW, no I don't think you should bail on your chick... shitty thing to do especially when you already made plans. Tsk, tsk, tsk for shame!

jesus would pray for you and help you to find the proper path.

as for your girl, she should leave you for someone way better, as you obviously do not deserve her. come on, what kind of guy picks his beer buddies over someone he supposedly loves? come on dude, utilize your head for something more than a hat rack at the redneck get together.

Ok, you are young, so heed this! Beer (any alcohol) and guns are NOT a good mixture....with anyone! I'd stay at home with your girl if you want to stay in one piece!

If you don't have the ability to perform miracles like Jesus I recommend you be very careful, chocolates and flowers may not fix it. And it could be the first hole on the boat before the boat sink.
