I heard people say that the sidekick 3 is the best for im. and it does bring aim, lil keyboard and a great and hot design.

I would highly suggest the "LG enV VX9900 Envy Phone" This is a great phone which is ideal for instant messaging since it has a keyboard, which makes text messaging extremly easier and will increaser your text messaging speeds greatly! the Envy has other great features such as camera and navigation too! lol hope i was some help.

I have an enV from Verizon, and it's fantastic. It's a bar phone that flips open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, which may sound odd unless you've seen a picture of it. Check out their website to get more information.
