Hi Alex my brother,
God bless you. I feel the Holy Spirit dealing with you, Praise God. The Holy Ghost is the Holy Spirit, of when you are baptized in the Holy Ghost it is the same. If they were different there would be 4 persons in the Trinity.....which doesn't make any sense. They are the same.
God Bless you Alex. Keep asking questions you are going to be so blessed by God.
He will lift you up. Dont let some of these people make you feel bad, yo are doing just fine. In the Name of Jesus I pray Amen

Faith in God leads to obedience. Not only do I believe in Jesus in my heart but I'm willing to do what he told me to do and that is be baptized. I've heard there is another baptism of the holy spirit or holy ghost, they're the same thing, receiving a new compassion. I've experienced that in prayer.

No...
Holy Spirit baptism is NOT SUFFICIENT to put one "in Christ."
Acts 10:44 While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.
45 Some Jewish believers had come with Peter. They were amazed because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on those who weren’t Jews.
46 They heard them speaking in languages they had not known before. They also heard them praising God. Then Peter said,
47 “Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”
48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
Here we see people who had received the Holy Spirit yet were immediately instructed to RECEIVE WATER BAPTISM. Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus: Eph 4:4 "There is one body. There is one Spirit. You were appointed to one hope when you were chosen. 5 There is one Lord. There is one faith and one baptism. 6 There is one God and Father of all. He is over everything. He is through everything. He is in everything."
We see there is ONLY ONE BAPTISM which holds MEANING for Christians, and that is the water baptism of believers. That baptism is what puts the believer "IN CHRIST." Romans 6:3 "All of us were baptized into Christ Jesus. Don’t you know that we were baptized into his death?"
...In Christ where we receive the blessings of God Ephesians 1:3 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with EVERY spiritual blessing IN CHRIST."

As I understand it what some call being 'born again' is baptism in the Holy Spirit. But real water Baptism is necessary for salvation. So teaches the Church. And at that time the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

Hi Alexandrite. God tells us in His Holy Word the Bible to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. In Matthew 28:19 God tells us:
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
But baptism by water is not necessary for your salvation. God speaking in Luke 3:16-17 tells us:
"John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire."
Water baptism has nothing to do with becoming Saved. Baptism was an outward sign (ceremonial Law) that God had instituted for the local New Testament congregations. This was to show us a representation of how water (either by sprinkling or pouring on, or by being immersed in) washes away the filth of our flesh (our sins). In the eyes of God for one of us to be clean, it is He (and He alone) which applies the Water of the Gospel to us. And thus, washes away the sins of that individual. The act of water baptism has no spiritual impact on any person.
You could baptize all day and all night and there is no guarantee that anyone of those whom you baptized were saved. Christ was baptized in water and so was I, but it plays no part in anyone's salvation.

i'm no longer a JW, yet a Christain for 38 yrs. I ask you to look very heavily at Matt. 28:19 It says to baptize interior the call(singular) of the daddy, son & Holy ghost, First the be conscious father isn't a acceptance, that's a identify to a acceptance, & we'd desire to work out what that one call is, Son isn't a acceptance, yet a identify, Holy Ghost isn't a acceptance yet a identify given to the comforter, Now in case you learn the scriptures, Jesus purely gave the keys to the dominion of heaven to Peter purely, Now do you think of Jesus could supply Peter the keys to the dominion of heaven, & understanding that for the period of Acts 2:38 Peter could tell those 3000 human beings to be baptize interior the call of the Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus knew precisely what he replace into doing by skill of giving the keys to the dominion of heaven to Peter, Now enable's see what that call is of the daddy, son & holy ghost Acts 4:10-12 there is not any different call given wherein we are in a position to be saved, different than the call of Jesus Christ, & additionally the bible is going directly to declare by any skill ye do in be conscious or DEEDS & water baptism is a deed, do all of it interior the call of the Lord Jesus Christ, I challenge you to tutor me one guy or woman who replace into ever baptized utilising the titles of pop, son, & holy Ghost, that's no longer interior the bible, yet each Apostle Baptized human beings interior the call of the Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 2:38 fulfills Matt. 28:19, provided that's the only call we are to even do our deeds in. Now tutor me every physique ever baptized interior the scriptures that use those titles, you are able to't discover it, yet i will see each convert being baptized interior the call of the Lord Jesus Christ, provided that they had a revelation from God who those titles pointed to.
