It never stops. As long as you live you can never entirely know everything so as long as you want to learn you will always seek to educate yourself. I do believe in life long learning, but I do not believe that you can necessarily learn everything you would like to know from an institutional setting.

Of course I believe in life long learning. My Mom is 92 and still learns new things daily even though she is bed fast and practically an invalid. You only stop learning if you make a practice of not accepting new information which is practically impossible.

never actually. the act of learning can neverstop until the person wants it ot still evn we are not direct part of it we still learn alot. wen u r a child u are educated by ur parents , ur relatives and as u grow up u are educated by ur experience and other factors. recently i wnt to give my masters exam and i saw ladies and gentlemen as old as my grandparetns there to participate in the exms. but we dont necessarily need to be enrolled in any kind of institution to be educated. u can b educated if stop ignoring and keep an opn mind to things around u ,learn to accept and thn analyize it to c how right or wrong certain conceot is. cause education gives us the biggest gift, tat is gift of wisdom and clarity

given that the world we live in is dynamic and in constant evolution it would be kiss of death to stop learning and stop adapting. Imagine if you stopped learning 10 years ago. You would not be asking this question, since you would not know how to use the internet, much less set up a Yahoo account.

people got it backwards... childhood is suppose to be a time of free learning free thinking... we old folks call it play.... but now you got your children tied to a desk as if they're 30 yrs old with a full time job... then unlike a 30 yr old who can come home relax... and play or turn into a couch potato.. the kids have to come home and do their chores.. OK now it's time to play right...no you have homework to do.... sometimes hours of home work damn the over paid teachers don't have that much work and they get to strike... OK so now I'm too tired to play but I'll try says the kid.. Damn now mom or dad is yelling at me to go to bed..... Childhood is a time to learn about life and the world.. time to get to know yourself and what you like... a time to have fun and build a life long habit of it... Today's children are expected to know what they want to be and plan their lives by the first year in high school... but they didn't even get the chance to naturally go through the first stage of life... We are killing our kids cementing them to a future that has no freedom no choices left for them.... At what age does education stop the first day you enter formal education...
