A two year gap in age is not that big a deal. Having a mean and mad father after you, is a big deal. Since you both are minors, and if she comes up pregnant, your @ss would be in deep trouble...like about twenty years worth.
That is called statuatory rape, which is another word for "date rape", and in most states, the age of consent is around 16 or 17 for the girl. It is better though, if you meet her parents and talk to them nice and gentle like, because what you are doing is.....you're asking for their daughter, who they have spent many years to get her to that age.
You really need to reassure the parents that you WON"T get her pregnant, that you just want to go on daytime dates with her, to have fun together, and to enjoy her company.
(Those nighttime dates will come later, what you want to do now, is to just get your foot inside her front door). After dating for a few months, then maybe you could put a little pressure on her.... Good Luck with this...

Hi there, the age gap is nothing to worry about, but the girls is too young to (legally) have sex. If you're just planning on dating, that's fine, but don't let it go where it would make you a felon, okay? :) The age of consent is 16 (in most places, though you may want to check for your jurisdiction), and after that, anything goes.

Two years is nothing, especially since you'll find that most girls are far more mature for their age than boys.

I'd recommend getting to know each other and seeing if you like being around each other. Have lots of fun, be best friends and soulmates - but don't get into trouble, oookai? :)

2 years difference is not a big thing..I could see if you were 30 trying to mess with a 15 year old. from a legal standpoint she won't be of consensual age until she is 16 so be careful

Absolutely not; in my eyes, especially since I'm 18, going out with a wonderful girl who's, call it 15 (turnning 15 in July).

I think it entirely depends on what, and how you feel on the inside. And I mean through your heart. DON'T just be going out with her because you think "she's another you might get lucky with".

That isn't a huge age difference, but 14 is really too young to date.

It isn't too young to just be friends, though.

Were I you I would continue to be friends and if you feel the same way in about two more years then you might pursue dating, assuming she shares your feelings.

no, thats only 2 years apart. I have a friend that is 17 (junior) and goes out with a 15 year old(freshman). Its fine, don't be worried about what others think.

Even at your age 2 years isn't bad. Relax and forget what others may say. I am 31 and my fiance is 41. The older you get, especially, age doesn't matter. What matters is love when it all comes down to it! :O) Good luck!

No, this is definitely not too young. I know that in High School it may seem like a big deal, but age is just a number. Don't worry about it. If you love her, go for it!!!!

Right now...HELL YES! Do you want to hook up with her father long before you should hook up with her? Cause I bet he won't like this scene one bit...Wait until everyone is legal age, and a bit more mature...at your age there's no hurry because even if you did mess with her now, statistically you won't last and break up so why deal with the age difference to begin with when you have so many girls your age to go out with? Good luck

well let me just say that i will not advise you to really get serious with her because actually she is basically jail bait for you so i will suggest you think long and hard before you both decide to make it very serious.if this is what both of you want then go ahead and be together but just be careful.
