Or am I overeacting? He only comes home to sleep - we've been together for 4 years the man is always gone - sometimes even entire weekends, when I complain, he'll spend an evening with me and his son and then disappear again. He never contributes financially to our household. I found proof he's cheating. I don't know what to do.

Nope U are not overeacting. i have been in that situation before. But somehow i contuine stay with him, it made it worst for myself, family. My mum keep nagging me, she made it harder for me. In few weeks later i came to a realise that she was right. I do not know why i couldn't do it in first place. After i told him to leave i felt big releive. Honestly U will find a new male that will love u, ur son.
The Choices is up to you that noone can make for you. If u want to stay with him please think twice. Don't be scare to leave him.

Dump him. You deserve better. Sounds like he's only using you. If he's cheating, why would you want him anyway? You are wasting your life with a man like this. Sounds so one sided to me. Find a man who WANTS to be with YOU. Also, why would you want someone who does not do his fair share? As long as you put up with this kind of "arrangement" he will be only too glad to just "sleep there" and spend his waking hours doing "whatever"with "whomever". He is such a waste of your time and energy!

How's your self-esteem? It can't possibly be good right now,but know this you need to be stong for the child and not for him cause unless he's on the red eye flight at all times because he's some business big wig then be there for him otherwise leave him alone for the sake of you and the kid He's not worth your time. Keep your head up!

I know that it can be hard because there is a child involved. But you don't need that and neither does your son. It sounds like you do fine without him now, so if you let him go what will be the difference. I say let him go!

The guy is a leach. You have nothing to lose by leaving him. You're taking care of yourself anyway. You are just his babysitter. Dump him ASAP. Nobody should put up with that crap.

No one can tell you what to do. You have to make that decision yourself.
You have to decide if his cheating is a deal breaker and if it is, you need to act accordingly.
One way to make a decision is to make a list of pros and cons of the situation. What are the positives and negatives of being in this relationship. What are the pros and cons of "dumping him?" I hope this helps.

Sounds like to me he's giving his time to another female. You need to get rid of him, but it sounds to me that you don't want to get rid of him if your asking that question to a bunch of strangers.
