Recently, I noticed that the avatar belonging to ChooserealityPLEASE shows Kent Hovind behind bars with a sign reading PIMP displayed at the bottom of the picture.

Thinking the whole thing was faked for the sole purpose of defaming Mr. Hovind, I objected strongly, both threatening to report the user as well as threatening to write Mr. Hovind and alert him to the abuse of his image and recommend he take legal action to force him to cease and desist.

I have since discovered that Mr. Hovind is in fact behind bars and the image is genuine, with the exception of the PIMP sign (to which I still object since it is not genuine). Apparently, he has been arrested for tax fraud and was found guilty on all 58 counts.

In haste to defend Mr. Hovind, I made an unwarranted threat (which I did not carry out, by the way). While it probably does not matter to most of you, it matters to me. My behavior was un-Christlike, especially since it's not my concern.

Please forgive me - I'm sorry - Tom

Yes I will forgive you. And Tom, May God bless you for making a public apology...That's not easy and is an awesome example. Thank you for being vulnerable.

You don't need my forgiveness...I didn't see the answer but it is nice to see someone willing to accept responsibility for their actions. I too have had occasion to do that...and it is hard sometimes. God Bless.

Sure, you're forgiven... anyone can be wrong. It isn't a sin... you won't go to hell... you aren't the Devil...

Just to do better next time... and give up on your silly God-belief, before you turn into a "Kent," too.
