There is a modified sit up that has always worked for me, it might have a name but I don't know it.
Lace your fingers behind your head, so that your elbows stick out like wings. As you sit up, twist so that your left elbow touches your right knee. On the next up, right elbow to left knee.
It's simple and does the job. Probably not very ergonomic, but Who cares, if it gives you that six pack?

I've been doing this and It has really worked for me.
Lay on your side with knees bent slightly.
Lay your upper body down so your back is laying flat on the floor, and so your legs stay in the same position.
Then start doing a crunch motion.
You can really feel this in your sides and my love handles are almost gone from doing this move.
I do about 3 sets of 25 everyday.
You can also check out www.fitnessmagazine.com and go to the videos. There is a video that targets trouble spots and there are some other moves in there that I use along with the one above.
Hope this helped. Good Luck to you!!!!

to loosen the love handles, lie face down on a mat, this part is weird but it works...get a raw frozen steak and place it on your love handle, or use 2 steaks (though i think it's a waste) i just alternate sides every 10 minutes. The steak's natural enzymes will attract fat away from your body. and also u will absorb a certain amount of iron this way. You should only do this procedure once a month, unless your doctor says otherwise. no im just fuking kidding, go do some situps.

you cant choose which body part to lose the weight off - it has to be overall weight loss. everybody has one or several parts in their bodies where fat reserves are being stored.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

There are lots of places online where you can learn to lose weight and/or build some muscle. Here is a good place to start asking questions. I highly recommend an eBook (electronic book) called "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle" Download it here: http://www.wideopenebooks.com/Recommends/BURNFAT.html It is exceptional!
Good Luck!

Hardwork (cardio) and diet modification is a sure way to lose your handles. Losing weight is all about intake vs expenditure!
