yes, this is a good price as long as you have mostly Ultegra or higher level of components, otherwise that is too much money
this is an aluminum frame, very reliable

Specialized is an excellent brand and they have a lot of bikes in a wide range of prices, so you may be better off considering a brand new bike

Get a new wheelset I'd say. I have a 2008 Allez Double and I bought a set of Mavic Krysium's for £120 and put the ones which came with it (Alex something or other) on my old raleigh racer/beater. Rotational weight is much more of an important factor than the weight of other smaller components. Also, get a set of road/MTB clipless pedals. - Works out about £70

As long as everything works AND the bike fits you, you got a good deal. New Ksyriums are more than that.

If the bike doesn't fit you then you wasted $600 on something you won't use, becasue it will be too uncomfortable to ride. Still, you could probably get most of it back on Ebay if you decided to sell it.

This is not a bad bike by any means. I checked on ebay and similar bikes were selling from 600-700. However, most of them tended to be 2004 or 2005 models. I don't think you did toooo badly.

Depends on the condition of the bike.
