Has anyone had any experience with a Healthcare Sharing Society? I've read where they all are Christian based, are there any secular ones? If you have had experience with one could you please give me your opinion in detail?

I inquired about it and at first it seems like a good deal until you investigate more. Its just like any health insurance, if you have pre existing conditions you do not qualify, if you have ever done something that they consider not Christian, you are disqualified. It is a pool of many people who pay X amount of dollars every year into this fund and if they believe you qualify for a procedure this pool of money will help pay for it, but your up front costs could run into thousands of dollars. You must also join their church, and they do not accept anyone who is Catholic, LDS,JW's. Because they do not consider them Christians.
