Focus on her baby and forget the dud! It is hard but life will go on. Just be there for her when she needs to talk to someone. Make the dirtwad pay child support too.

I would have said a girls night out but seeing as though she has just had a baby i would say girls night in, get all her gf's around with some movies, some wine and have a chat. I'm guessing she really needs some support right now and at least if you's are at home she can still keep an eye on the baby and you's can all pitch in and let her know that you's are there for her.

This is a very difficult situation. First of all... you need to just be there for her. Let her talk it out as much as she needs to, but with the new baby she might be too distracted to really let herself feel. Get a babysitter for the baby and take her out for a girl's night. She probably needs it more than anything. After that, support her and let her know that her friends are there for her.

really bad break up- go somewhere to relax take her to get a massage, nails done anything to make her feel worth it again
She broke up with him- girls night out go to a club and just mess around and have fun
They decided together that it wouldnt work- have her over rent girly movies and buy lots of ice cream
He went for another girl- Have a whole bunch of friends over help her feel better (ice cream is good in this situation also lol)
after everything is done make sure that it is all good for the baby

Better to loose him than to loose herself. Tell her to fall in love with herself again. Get a personal trainer at the gym, join an art class or whatever she enjoys. tell her to play her favorite songs or look up a song artist she hasn't listen to before. Lucinda Williams has some great get over a man songs. Tell her to enjoy her new baby she has the greatest gift he could have given her in him. Boys love their mommies. You are a good friend remind her she has you.

nothing you can say will make her feel better. all you can do is be a great friend by providing an ear and open arms when she needs you. word of advice: don't diss the guy under any circumstances, no matter how bad he may be or how much you dislike him. chances are she turns out marrying him and you are in the dog house for the rest of your friendship. trust me, i lost a really good friend that way.

Best thing to do is offer closure. Help her close the feelings she has against her now ex, and yeah, a big ladies night out, and a party with some guy friends (let's not turn into manhaters!), can really pull things together.

Tell her too keep her chin up and be strong for her baby. Help her out and let her know she is not alone in the world and that you are there for her. Its his loss no matter what the situation lost. Most of all keep her busy and motivated

Tell her to be strong and give her your moral support. And also take good care of the baby.

HELLO!
IN MY EXPIERENCE, THE ONLY THINGS YOU CAN DO TO GET HER MIND OFF OF THIS IS JUST TAKE HER OUT WITH YOU PLACES AND DO NOT LET HER WALLOW IN HER PITY. TELL HER, IT IS BETTER SHE FOUND OUT NOW ABOUT HIM, THAN LATER WHEN THE BABY HAD GOTTEN TOO CLOSE. BREAKUPS CAN BE DEVASTATING. AND GET HER TO TRACK HIM FOR CHILD SUPPORT ALSO. BUT JUST SHOW HER YOU CARE AND ALWAYS KNOW IT ALL TAKES TIME..VICKIE PONDER
