"Sometimes I wonder" what I am doing here. I know I have no purpose, I can see societies teeth trying to consume, "a new mall, oh boy, more toys to keep from looking at the monsters that are "created" by the world dream". Flying into the future, only towards death. Earth is not "good" enought, maybe the worms will find them tastie.

Meerkatz 007: That's OK. The moment we had been programed our whole life up to the point of realising it. And yes we are programed so "well" that we take part in the programing by programing ourselves without realising it until that golden moment.

When my pastor told me that Ghandi was going to hell because he wasn't a christian. What the hell did Ghandi do to anyone? He just chose the religion that his parents gave him, just like christians do every day. I asked my mom about it, and she told me that other religions were put on earth by the devil to steer people away from god. Then I found out that the bible is less than 3500 years old and Egyptians, who are mentioned in the bible, have been around more than three times as long and had their own gods that, surprisingly, had some stories and themes that appear in the bible. This was also condemned as a trick by the devil.
Well, if the devil can trick people into believing false gods are real, how do we know that he isn't the author of the new testement, or that he wasn't pretending to be the messiah going under the name Jesus? Wasn't the messiah supposed to be called Immanuel? Or was that a trick too? That would explain why his followers died waiting for him to return. That would explain why if you pray to him, he doesn't answer your prayers in the fashion described in the new testement ("anything you ask for in prayer will be done" is not the same as "nothing you ask for in prayer, except if it's in god's will").
Golly, that sure would clear a lot of things up.

No I don't. If indeed there was ever such a moment.
Have been way to busy making each moment count to ponder the imponderable.
Will stopping to consider it now improve my life or leave me with a sour taste?
No I don't think so either way.
Life is short and I only have a limited number of years to experience it. Can happily waste my time watching the flowers grow, but not on examining being programmed.

Firstly, good question. Secondly to answer your question. Yes. I do recall when the revelation for pre-programing crossed my mind....
It opened my mind to new possibilties to "free my mind" so to speak. [matrix]
The idea that we are simply taught by are parents the princibles of right and wrong goes for us all. Its thought and proven that the early teachings up to age of six are the building block's we use in everyday life.
The ten commandments then are the religous acts of sin that
we as god's creature's should live by to be children of god. If you were to break one of these law's you will be punished.
Wot if these law's were broken the only spirtual way to be returned your punishement would be Karma.
Some religions refer to there belief system as karma. "I am thankfull for my karma" [Matrix]
I mentioned pre-programing earlier on as how you are in the world today. This is in no way final. Re programming can still happen!

Dear cosmicdri,
i think you are making two connections that are unfounded.
History has shown that every prominent society that has survived needs laws. The 10 commandments were laws that were for God's people in order for them to live the kind of lives that were pleasing to God.
Some of the things that God commanded them were struggles and difficulties that they have.
As demonstrated in the Bible and in real life- people make personal choices as to what they obey and disobey and they reap the consequences (good or bad) of that.
It doesn't stand to reason that just because there is a law that people are "programmed" by it. I mean we have a speed limit of 55 mph (are you programmed by it?)
Laws are standards which are meant to protect the individual. For example we have a legal alcohol level: Obviously much of society does not adhere to it- and it's necessary because look at the number of people who die or kill others from drunk driving... but just because we have those laws does not mean that everyone is "Programmed by it" as you suggest.
By the way the 10 commandments were replaced by two simple commandments from God: Love God, and Love others.
Hope that helps. Kindly,
Nickster

"We are not here because we're free. We are here because we are not free." Smith (The Matrix)
I know I had to buck the way I was brought up. I'm 46 and am still doing it. I think that it's harder because there was good advice mixed up with really bad behavior.
It can feel liberating to be away from the one's putting that kind of influence. But the wires are so crossed that it takes help to get out of it. I have been told that I've come pretty far.
I credit God for that, after all, before I committed suicide I happened to start trusting Him. I wonder how many people who doubt God have thought of all the good He does for people like me?

Hmmm. That's an interesting question. I grew up in the 1950s and never went along with the programming, which at the time was pretty restrictive. I cut some new swaths through conventional living, and while it had many rewards, it was at times incredibly difficult Frankly,
I think some of my life would have been easier had I been a bit more pliant. Thanks for asking this question. It made me think.

It wasn't a moment.
I remember it as more of a slow realization.
It has taken many years of time in this life.
I am attempting to see through the confusion, but I may not fully attain the clearness of mind that I intend to find.
I am unsure on how to discern the differences between the conscious mind and the sub-conscious mind and how they interact with each other.

Yes, the day I realised that there was no such thing as "getting saved". Salvation is not a choice; you either sided with Satan in the first Earth age, or you sided with God.. If you sided with God then you are one of his Elect... I'm swaying from topic........... I realised that all of these so called holy people were actually the demons in the pulpit; that they were programing good loving people to follow their lies......

I once again realized it today...I don't remember when else, but I do know it has occured to me before. It's depressing to realize, actually. I think my brain is resistant to programming, though I am programmed. As a result, I question everything and can suffer from crippling indecision. I don't judge other people that strongly...they just manage to frustrate me. I live by the saying 'there but for the grace of God go I.
