Both emanate from the self. Even the belief is the result of acceptance by the self. When the out side forces influence the notion already approved by the self, and the self rebels to accept any change to its belief, it becomes disbelief. So, the gap is too slender though very decisive.

Hi Elixir,
i think probably reality.
Not 100% for sure what you are asking.
i think a lot of times people adhere to: you can do "anything? as long as you set your mind to it." i think there are limitations to it- for example i'm 5 foot 6 and no matter how much i set my mind to it- i will never slam dunk on a normal basketball court -- that's reality. i can do things to improve my jumping ability- but let's be real. It doesn't mean that every now and again there is not an abberation to that Spud Webb is 5 foot 7 -- but he also had amazing vertical leaping ability like over 50 inches.
Anyhow hope that helps. Reality matters-- though it's great that sometimes there are those who defy reality and consequently leave room to dream.
Hope that helps. Kindly,
Nickster

It is a fine line and please don't cross it.
When belief in self becomes disbelief, I might have to come rescue you.
