The first time we attended Mass after we moved to this area, the priest for his homily played " I left my heart in San Francisco" on a SAXOPHONE.
It was kinda neat- workied right into the point he was making- and he sure had everyone's attention.
They are sharing a gift- it would no more alarm me than if two 'non-priests' did the same thing!

Yes, I would be slightly alarmed.. BANJOS?! But playing music, nah.. that's great, as long as the Buddhists could join with gongs, and the pagans could drum and the rabbi's could play the triangle... those would be cool days at an elementary school!!!!

Our local elementary school barely lets parents in. I doubt dueling banjos of any sort would be allowed. ;o)
