Peter. He was brash. He insisted he would never deny Jesus, and then did; three times. He was passionate; he grabbed a sword and cut off the ear of one of the temple guards who came to arrest Jesus. He wept bitterly, and repented of his denial of the Lord. And he came back as the rock...and Jesus said on this kind of faith, I will build my church. He's my kind of person; flawed, but he learns from his mistakes and comes back stronger.
