6th grade, hm... I know it may seem like the end of the world if you don't get your nose pierced *right now*, but it really isn't. If you're so keen on it, see if you can work out a deal with your mom- for example, ask if there is a specific age she will allow it or if you can get your nose pierced as a reward for good grades, etc.

The only thing I really would suggest you NOT do is pierce it yourself. I know many people who have tried this and have gotten infections resulting in ugly scars or lumps where the hole once was. Not only that, but nose piercings are difficult because placement is key- you want your piercing to look cute and not like a giant blackhead or some schmutz on your face. (Yuck)

well if your mom says no u dont have a choice so you cant hide it but i totally understand where you are coming from.i am now nineteen but when was in sixth grade i remember trying to to peirce my belly button in the bathroom during break time.with a straight pin...dont do it i got in trouble.i got it professionally done at sixteen. i also got a tatoo then.with my parents permission!but Trust me i begged for ever.At seventeen i got my nose done.i know its totally cute and all but there is an appropriate time and age im sorry your not there yet.but thats good cause you may not even want it when you are a little older.and truthfully a nose ring isnt very nice on a sixth grader.its not a good look right now. dont argue with your mom thought show her you are mature and leave it at that ask again next year i bet she will change her mind.

I know it stinks when your parents say you can't do something you want to do...but I'm 14 and I'm fine with just my ears pierced at this point. I know you really want your nose pierced, but maybe it will be better to wait...and it stinks, but if your mom won't let you, then don't do it, please, because you don't want to get into a lot of trouble with your parents. Anyways, (a little story from me) my friend Bella got her belly button pierced a few years ago and her mom told her not to. She did it anyway and hated it just about the next day. So think about it before you do it!

You are in SIXTH grade. If my daughter asked to pierce her nose I would smack her. If you are sexually active in the 6th grade some one needs to talk to your MOM. but that's ok if you want to get pregnant by the time you're 15-16 or earlier keep doing what you're doing. I speak from personal experience. you shouldn't go behind your Mom's back and do the things she ASKED you not to do. that is called DISRESPECT. BUT IT'S NOT LIKE YOUR GENERATION KNOWS THE DEFINITION OF THE WORD.

well your kind of young but i got mine pierced in 7th grade and i did it with a pin & i cut the end with a nail clipper. It kind of hurts and feel like a pinch. Try to convince your mom though by showing here the tiny little diamonds one can put in their nose. Say you want to be an individual and you want to have a little character without going too far. I think she'd go for it. Its hard to take out the piercing when she's around you because it closes and you'll be in pain forcing it back in.

Any piercing of the soft tissue on the outside of the nose. Difficult healing due to bacteria in the nose. Do not do procedure if you have a cold with a runny nose or during allergy season. Meticulous care is required. LISTEN TO YOUR MOM!

First how do you know she get her pierced. Secondly it sound that you only want to do it because shes done it. you should not do it just because shes done it. Thirdly and most important always remember that they are very high risks on get a piercing down there due to infection. Then you have to go to the hospital and then your mother would find out.

- think about
P.S. don't rush into something that you later may regret.

Jeez....6th grade? Maybe you should be more worried about stuffing your bra or something...You have to be 18 to get your nose pierced unless you decide to do it yourself, which is relatively dangerous, so just listen to your mom, be really mad at her for not letting you 'express' yourself like your friend, and then move on to some other, less body modifying, trend. Like being Emo. Maybe you could use this experience of oppression to tap into your unharnessed Emo side.

I am also in 6th grade. You are too young to get your noise pierced! I just got my ears pierced last year! Listen to your mother and wait! You will regret getting it pierced bc it hurts REAL bad. Don't do it! Plus you will get grounded!

6th grade is way too young to be scarring your face. They are cute, but they are a fad. At 20, when having your nose pierced is as lame as having a "tramp stamp",You will be sorry that you have that spot, that looks like a black head, on your nose the rest of your life.
