i have a acura integra 165 0000 km on it, i jump started the car today and it worked alright drove around for 3 hours (new battery bought in 2005) then i let it rest for about 15 mins and turned it on again to check if it would turn on again, then i let it stay in my driveway for about an hour (pretty cold out not that cold and rainy) and when i tried to turn it on again it wouldnt turn on the lghts would come up in the car and it lights up the battery picture and engine oil. one of my friend that is like a student mechanic said something was eatting up the battery (in 2005) not sure what it was tho, but i dont want to waste my money buying a new battery finding out that it is somethign eles that could be the problem like the spark plug or alternator in which ive heard before can someoen plz help me cuzz i dont want to waste any money trying to fix this car unless i kno what the true problem is and i dont want to spend up to actually 1000$ or like 800$ to find out that to repair the

like when i try to start the car it starts up for a lil bit but then just dies down could it be becuzz i have no gas?? cuz the gas is at empty right now

yo how come when i was driving it around the KM numbers was changing really fast... like every time i press the gas the number would go up

and when i try to turn on my car it like almost turns on i hear the engine about to go but it just dies down

personaly, i would have the alternator and the charging system checked out, then go from there.

could be your starter! i had an 86 integra once with kinda the same thing. i push started it for weeks until someone realized there was a wire disconnected from the starter. if your lights come on its probably not your battery.

Check all connections between the battery and the starter. Clean and tighten as needed.

alternator probably not keeping battery charged or battery just to dead
