If you have reason to be concerned, you need to see a doctor and get it checked out. It could be nothing. Lymph nodes swell for all sorts of reasons. Are you fighting off an infection? Any weight loss? Night sweats? Itching?
If you have reason to suspect Lymphoma, this is the best site for info:

Sure a single lymph can swell. Invariably there is some infection in the general viscinity that the body is busy fighting. Once a lymph swells it can sometimes take a good long time to go back down...and in the case of recurrent infections, it can stay large for some time. If the node is tender, then fine (or used to be tender when it first swelled).

If it is swollen and absolutely not tender and never was, then I would take it to my doctor to evaluate.

Good luck.

It depends on which one and what other symptoms you have. Talk to your doctor . A swollen lymph node in your throat could mean one thing while a swollen lymph node in 'other' places could mean something entirely different.
