Some religions teach polygamy in Heaven, but Jesus said we would be like angels--they do not procreate, but minister as God's messengers.

Jesus says In Mark 12:25:

"For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven."

Of course I would, One-Way

Jesus said it would be better to loose an eye, hand, or foot than loose heaven through transgression.

Why would anyone refuse a gonadectomy to stay in this sinful world.

Jesus meant what He said, and no immoral person will inherit the kingdom. He talked about unichs for the kingdom.

The commandment "thou shalt not commit adultry" is defined throughout Scripture, and that means if you have problems with sexual identity--don't sleep with another person of your same sex.

And for pedifiles or those who are otherwise promiscuous, If you can not obey here, then neither I or the holy angels want you in heaven.

Heaven is peaceful because people do not sin there--and while there, we do not want to revert to the world we left behind.

The unitive way is the way of those who are in the state of the perfect, that is, those who have their minds so drawn away from all temporal things that they enjoy great peace, who are neither agitated by various desires nor moved by any great extent by passion, and who have their minds chiefly fixed on God and their attention turned, either always or very frequently, to Him. It is the union with God by love and the actual experience and exercise of that love. It is called the state of "perfect charity", because souls who have reached that state are ever prompt in the exercise of charity by loving God habitually and by frequent and efficacious acts of that Divine virtue. It is called the "unitive" way because it is by love that the soul is united to God, and the more perfect the charity, the closer and more intimate is the union.

After being dead for so long, I would think my gratefulness for returning to the surface of the earth would outweigh any supposive restrictions that God put upon me. BTW.. all humans will be facing this as well, when the Earth has reached a level of full capacity within a comfort level for all to share....

I'm guessing the needs and desires are different once you are in the spiritual realm. Realistically, nerves and hormones are not really in the picture anymore. This seems more likely than getting 72 hotties and a river of wine, IMHO.

Too many preach a bodily resurrection- it's a spiritual one. Not flesh and bones, think more like ghosts... So how could they procreate? And what's more important- matters of the flesh do not trouble ones that have accended!

Would we have a choice? Maybe there will be no sex-drive in heaven since there is no need to procreate.

Well I was taught that heaven was a place where we would be freed from basic needs, like food, water, sex, power and prestige. We will have evolved to our higher selves.

I guess for those who can't see any more to life than submitting to every whim of their genitals, that might seem pretty scary.

If you're not getting any now, don't count on getting any in the hereafter.
Even if it's what you're here after..
