i asked my friend to ask this guy i know if he liked me and she says he needs to get to know me better before hand and then two day s later she dates him he just dumped her and during this time he started flirting it up and i want to ask him out but i dont know if i have a chance should i go for it or should i forget about it

Go for it. If you just forget about it, you may miss out on something special. You may regret not saying anything when you had the chance. If he says no, well then you tried. Good Luck

My concern is why did he date her if he is interested in you? Maybe you should think about that first. But, by all means, go ahead, if you never try you would never know.
