I think I lost the W2.
I am copying the numbers from the H&R Block website.
I already filed my federal return and recieved the refund.

yes you do. The state will send it back without it.

You're usually required to. If you can't find it and can't get a copy quick enough, send it in anyway without the copy and see what happens - the worst that can happen is that they'd send it back, and then you're no worse off than if you didn't sent it in.

Go to your state website and see if you can e-file from there - then you might not even need to send it in, depending on your state's rules.

Yes you do. You usually receive 3 copies of your W2--one for your state, one for the fed and one for yourself. If you still have your copy, why not send the state a copy of that?...

Don't worry. The IRS already has copies of your W2 from your employer. You will never need to send any of your W2s. Those are yours and your accountant to keep.
