OK I'll try to make this short. I dated my ex for a short time then HE ended it. He's 26, I'm 21. He has lots of experience with dating, while he was my first kiss & first bf. Our relationship was so innocent, cuddling in his room, holding hands, kissing. We never had sex cuz he knew I wanna save sex for marriage. He would still say HI to me on msn even though HE ended it. It has been over for more than ONE YEAR. 2 months ago, he called me, after one yr. & wanted to make plans together so we could see a movie sometime. We set a date, he picked me up & after the movie he took me home. On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to "see me every once in awhile". But while we were at the movies, I kinda felt disrespected cuz he didn’t open any doors for me, he didn’t walk me to my door & he talked about stupid stuff the whole time. Since he treated me that way, my feelings have gone way down for him. I was hurt yes, but that was wrong.

It was his b-day last week & I never wished him a happy b-day cuz he doesn't deserve it. Also I think we should both just move on. Also on my msn quotes, I write stuff like "brave new girl" as my quote. Do you think that my ex finally thinks I'm over him because I am getting to that point? Will he care if I'm over him?

If he didn't care enough to respect your wishes about saving sex till your married (b'cuz he left you)then a yr later he pops into your life again and doesn't hold doors for you and so forth then i would have to say that he doesn't and won't care if your done or not he just wants in your pants....(to be blunt) find someone new hun....there are a lot of guys waitnig for someone as nice as you

It sounds to me like he's not particularly interested in a romantic relationshiip with you. It sounds, to me at least, like he broke up with you and now wants to remain friends and keep in touch.
I think you should examine why you feel so hurt about why he didn't treat this movie thing as a 'date'. I think he thought of it as exactly what he said - just a get-together with an old friend.
Sounds to me like, and no offense meant, that you are trying a little too hard to prove you're over him. Maybe you're not completely over him?

The fact that you asked this question means that you are not over him. Nice try but you screwed that one up right off the bat.
Why do you even care if he is over you or not? When you can get to that point then you move on.
Chances are he doesn't even think about you, he has moved on and isn't looking back. Leave him alone, he is happier without you.

i think he may have already known that you were over him, because he didnt open any doors for you or anything like that. he probably just wants to be friends and hang out like friends because of the way he is acting.
