Ok. Me and this guy were dating for about a month and a half. We made out A LOT and went to prom together and everything. A week after prom he takes me home after a date and tells me he needs a break. Not just from me he said, from everyone. He said his dad might get deployed and needs time for himself. Since then he hasn't called me, and he barely talks or looks at me at school. What do I do? Move on? Wait?

He sounds depressed. Maybe it is because he feels guilty for not being home that much and knowing since his dad might get deployed, he might not get to see him for a long time/ might even die, but let's pray not. He is probably withdrawn with all of his friends? Is he? If so, then he is just depressed and worried about spending time with dad before he leaves and feels guilty about maybe not being home that much. I was an Army brat and this can happen. Just LET HIM KNOW YOU ARE THERE FOR HIM IF HE NEEDS TO TALK OR ANYTHING. Tell him you are there to listen or help in any way and if he needs time, its ok. He will probably need you more once dad does leave. JUST BE THERE FOR HIM NO MATTER WHAT.

Have you thought that maybe his dad is a little more important. I mean if my dad was going to be deployed to the middle east I think Id want to spend as much time with him as I could. He may never see him again. Give it some time and give him a call see how his dads doing ask questions show that you care.?

Wait. He is going through alot of problems right now. You would be a friend to him if you wait for awhile and talk to him when he's feeling better. If he doesn't come back to you after a certain period of time, then just be friends with him.

Both because you dont know when hes goign to turn to you again!! You move on but dont find another boy just move on and wait for him if he doenst do anything just find another boyfriend cuz its oois that he doenst want you if you get to that point whrer he turns his back on you
