i listen in a tiled 120 sq ft bedroom with my amp i have 75watts rms high current power.

It should be quite satisfactory. If you want to play at super loud volumes however, look for a horn-loaded speaker design.

THe manufacturer of the amp is going to have a HUGE effect on the sound of your speakers, your power is at a good point for these speakers, however, there is a difference between NAD at 75 watts, and optimus (radio shack brand) at 75 watts. But yes absolutely they can handle rock music, They will have a nice, smooth response and sound, without being affected too dramatically by the dynamics of the music. With only 75 watts RMS, I don't think over driving the speakers will be an issue.

Hi. British loudspeakers are designed to reproduce all types of music .They tend to have a neutral sound (low coloration) and have a fairly flat frequency responce.

Your KEF IQ1 speakers will definitely handle rock music and your amplifier will be a good match for the KEF's.
