My friend likes this guy. I don't know him. At all. He's not and has never been in any of my classes, and I've never exchanged a word with him.
She wants me to give him a note that says "Single? Yes or no?"
It's kind of embarrassing, but I don't know the guy, and I'm going to say (truthfully) that it is from a friend of mine.
She's his friend, too, and he's probably seen us hanging out together.
If I do it, he's going to have to tell me the answer and then I'l pass the message on to her.
Should I give him the note?

So is she going to send you out on dates with this guy too? She needs to stand up and ask for herself. Also, notes are kinda immature. If she wants to know if he's got a girlfriend, can't she just have a conversation with him? I mean, if she intends to date him, she'll have to speak with him at some point. How old is she anyway? If you want to do this favor for her, just tell the guy that a friend wants to know if he's seeing anyone. He can answer you and it can all be over in 10 seconds. A note - give me a break. = )

Why can't your friend give the note herself? If it makes you feel uncomfortable, you should tell her and if she' s truly your friend, she should not impose this favor on you. However, if you want to do this for her, he will eventually pass back the message to you, or, he might talk to your friend himself. Just have fun doing this favor for her.

Do it, but make it clear to him that you are just the messenger. It will help ya later when u ask some guy out
