Do all Pagans and Wicca own black cats?

Question

There is a family who just moved in down the street from me who owns a big black cat. They let it prowl at night. I am very suspicious. Last night it ran in front of my house. Is it OK to drive my car out of my driveway now? Should I have my housed defoliated or something?

Hey, what's wrong with black cats. We used to a have a big black cat name Ace and he was one of the best cats we ever had. He was very loving, talkative, and an all around good boy. He was killed by a car about three years ago and we still miss him. He was definitely not evil, that's a bunch of superstitious bullshit!

Nah, we don't all have black cats. I've got a grey one. He weighs 32 pounds and hasn't ever thought about prowling at night. He'd rather lay under my chair with all four paws in the air waiting for me to scratch his tummy.

The cat of any color, either black or white, brown or red is a kind of animal which is considered a pet.

The black cat which is running in front of your house is nothing but a cat and that is the tendency of cats to ran for safety of any danger to him. There is nothing superstitious on that matter. Superstitious belief is not true either.

Um ok I'm sorry but that's really paranoid. I used to have a black cat and I'm not pagan or wiccan or anything. Lots of people let their cats out at night and that's actually what's natural for them. Just because they have a black cat doesn't make them evil, and all black cats aren't evil.
And I don't mean any offense, but are you really really Christian or super superstitious or something?

We have an 17 lb WONDERFUL black cat who we adopted from the humane society. His name is Salem.

If you are suspicious of an innocent animal then you need serious emotional and mental assistance.

If this is not a serious question, (and I hope it isn't) then ignore what I just said. But it might be wise to stop propagating such nonsense about black kitties. People actually go out of their way to hurt them. Very cruel and ignorant.

I have a black cat. I had him since he was a kitten. Another black cat came around and now she is inside but I have her in a seperate room from the other cats.

We have three cats, one gray, one orange and one tabby. We also have two dogs, and a horse. In fact, I don't ever remember owning a black cat.

If I remember correctly, Christianity decided black cats were evil when they realized that Fregga, Odin's second wife, has a chariot that is pulled by two great black cats.

1. I don't think it's a requirement to own a cat.
2. Cats have quick reflexes. If you're pulling out of your driveway, it will most likely avoid you. If you do end up hitting it and it was on your property it's not your fault.

I wouldn't suggest hitting it intentionally, though. Depending on what life it's on, you might be asking for a bit more trouble than it's worth. Cats can be vengeful after someone attempts to kill them.

I'm a Christian, and my first cat was solid black. I was 11 when I got him, and I tried to name him Familiar. Mom said, "Never going to happen." I ended up naming him Jupiter (I was heavily into Astronomy and Mythology). We always said it was the perfect name for him because at 25lbs of solid muscle, he had his own gravitational pull (try to resist the lure of the kitty, resistence is futile), and he THOUGHT he was the King of the Gods. Anyway, all kinds of people have black cats.

I'm a Christian and I own a black cat...oops, sorry, I mean African American cat. I came home the other day and she was on the counter, I said "rat cat, you know your not allowed on the counter, get down"...after she ignored me I remembered that she doesn't answer to her slave name anymore. I just gave up and ate some cheese poofs and watched cartoons.
