a guy from my class emailed me saying his family is doing the ms walk this weekend and I didnt realize what he was asking for was donations so I signed up coz I had been meaning to anyway but accidently somehow wound up on his team which is family only(and Im not). How do I still participate without being affiliated with them? It's kind of embarrassing and they might get offended but it was a total mistake. I still want to participate, but I certainly dont want to assume theyd ok me being on their family team...I only know them thru class(which doesnt meet anyday before the walk either). How do I, for 1. find out if my accident is ok w/ them, & 2. if it's not, then disaffiliate in time?

I bet if you asked him he would love to have you on the team to help support MS even if your not "family" Most famlies who are doing that type of thing want and appreciate as much support as possible. I bet he will be pleasently suprised that you want to support as well. :)
