Talk to your teacher but what ever you do don't treat him any different be nice and consider him. He could be mentally disabled in one way but he is human and you should not be scared of him. This kind of people are scared them self's be cool to him and be his friend but ask your teacher if he has a problem I'm sure she will be able to tell you let her know you don't want to be rude in any way. Don't make fun of him and if you see people making fun of him tell them to treat with respect hes a person just like the rest he has feelings just like the rest and yes people like that are very smart and need lots of love too.
good luck!

I've done that. He is thinking about something very, very funny and out of the blue just starts laughing. I'll explain. It's a thought disorder. He'll just be sitting there alone and start day dreaming about an episode of MAD TV he saw last night that was hilarious and start thinking about that one joke that had him in stitches for 5 or six uncontrollable minutes then just start busting out laughing and no one is over there, he is all by himself. It comes from not getting enough sleep and the sleep deprivation will cause some schizophrenics (and even a few normal people) to dream while they are awake. Scary, I know but they can't sleep, terrible insomnia, yet their body needs sleep so bad, the brain does.

The short answer to this question is YES he does have serious chemical imbalances in his brain. You need to let either your teacher/headmaster know what you've jus told us and stay the h*ell away from this dude man cos when in one of these tantrum states he would totally have no idea wot he's doing and even if he does, he'd have little or no control over his obviously very short temper!! I'd say that he's most likely bipolar/schizophrenic or even sociopathic (unable to socialise with the public at large). I, however, am by no means a Psychiatrist, jus somebody with a whole lot of life experience who also suffers from bipolar and schizophrenia. Obviously, I take my meds!! Maybe he's already aware of his condition and is trying to without his meds, who knows!!
With the right medication, people with these chemical imbalances in their brains function more effectively than most supposedly "normal" peeps that I know.
Jus stay right away from him man and let the appropriate adults know what happened. Good on you for seeking an answer!! Knowledge is power!!.............:0)

A man should NEVER attack a woman, even if you two are arguing. The best way to make him feel sorry and hate himself for doing that is to break up with him, don't go back to him, and move on. Trust me, It will hurt a lot but it is for the best. I come from an aggressive family and I can tell from very painful experience. Someone that says that loves you but hurts you doesn't love at all.

I would be scared of this guy. you know what happened a columbine, right. Also, the drool may be signs that he's on some sort of medication. But i don't think laughing out loud is a sign of mental illness, unless he does it constantly.

you should discuss this with your parents, and or the police . he has threatened your life, which is a criminal offense. if he is mentally ill, he then might get the help he needs, and you would feel safer. contrary to the belief, it is not that easy to get a person admitted to a psychiatric hospital, and perhaps he needs an evaluation of his mental status, so he can receive the help , or deterrent he needs. threats like that need to be taken seriously, if the person is mentally ill or not

You should defiantly take any threat seriously and tell someone of an authoritative position such as the school councilor or a teacher/professor

Tell your guidance counselor about his threat. No one here can diagnose him. I would stay away from him. Stop saying stupid things, and don't call him names. Just ignore him.
