Can't speak for reliability as I don't use them, but the 3600 would give longer usage over the 3300. The same is true for AA camera batteries, the 2500's are far better than the older 1800's and the new 2800's better yet though rather expensive.

The 3600mah battery will last longer before it needs a charge.
