The last mustang I had got about 260 miles to a tank, but I drove it hard. Lot's of hooning, burnouts, speed, and general recklessness. I suspect you can get 300 miles to a tank without too much trouble if you drive sanely

i have a 95 with a 3.8 (which is a v6) on the highway I can go about 350/400 miles......if there isn't too much traffic.
A mustang is a nice car, but with gas as much as it is..it's not the most economical choice. I love my car, but I'm thinking about getting rid of it.

What size is the engine? You also have to take into consideration the cost of gas varies from state to state.
You should also change the plugs and put in a new air cleaner it will help to improve mileage.

wow, ok what?
You're looking at it or he has the car already? You're looking to get it and then drive it across country? or what?
Also depends on the trim. If it's a v8 with an automatic, it'll get lower 20's even with all the highway driving. If it were a manual v6 it could get as high as 30mpg I think.

never concepts the gas mileage. there's a reason Ford now no longer makes the three.8. It replace into rubbish. they might never get the top gasket challenge resolved and that's no longer a inexpensive restore. Now their 3.0 is an spectacular engine and that i placed very very nearly 400k on it with surely no issues. in case you like issues and mediocre gas mileage get the vehicle. in case you do no longer save finding
