Res prima primum

Res in nominative is both singular and plural - thing or things. It's a neuter noun and takes neuter endings for its adjectives - prima = neuter nominative plural of 'primus'.

haha i'm doing my latin hw right now, as we speak!

that's my guess, off the top of my head.

una means one and res means things
and the sentence structure is simple like that
