Yes, but it would stop if corporations quit giving them jobs for pennies per hour. So many people these days are saying "they will do jobs Americans won't do." That's complete bulls... Here's the flaw in that argument.

Because Mexicans are accustomed to a third world life with no hope of making anything in their own country, they come here and are willing to work at wages that are still low enough that they have to live with 14 other people in a 2 bedroom apartment. Still a shabby way to live, but here they get healthcare and school for their illegal kids and anchor babies. And so they undercut American workers, and it's not only in jobs picking cotton. Driven by a construction site lately? Construction was once an honorable profession of skilled craftsmen. Now homes and apartments get slapped together and in a few years people's homes are going to start crumbling. Especially in California, with all the mudslides and earthquakes.

Americans deserve better. They are hard working people who have earned their standard of living from humble beginnings. It's just too bad our politcians are too caught up in their own self interests to give a damn about the people. You think Hillary would care any more than Bush?

No- illegal immigrants do not qualify for welfare but they can work "under the table" for loads less they are willing to live in less than "standard" quarters and will forgo police assistance in the event of a crime for fear of deportation. Eliminating welfare would make more single moms and their kids homeless than it will effect immigration. Additionally it would collapse the Foster Care program and reduce federal funding to school lunch and medical care programs.

Yes, as long as there was subsidized education. When our southern neighbors don't give 'free universal education' through high school as we do, many coming illegally rationalize it as 'for their children' ignoring the impact it has on our own children's educations.

I personally think education is at LEAST equal to employment as a magnet. Unfortunately, it is also hugely degraded as a result.

Probably. For the most part it seems illegals are here looking for work and don't want to deal in welfare. Those sucking off of welfare are the sorry *** blacks and white trash who won't get up and get a job.

I don't think it would. It seems a lot of the attraction to coming here is get a free ride and if we ended the free ride, I think the illegal alien problem might decline slightly...it would still be a problem, but maybe not as much of one.

Not likely...Because all these lazy SOB's ( you know who you are) would have to get a J O B and that would mean fewer jobs for illegals :)

No difference because illegals can't get welfare but they get other benefits. Their anchor babies get welfare.
