Candy sales are banned from CA schools next year, so we need to find new ways to fundraise. are there any other ideas besides candy sales, car washes, silent auctions, bake sales, battle of the bands etc. i'm open to any ideas, but the simpler the better. (optional-----this is for a club, so are there any ideas that can involve a lot of people and also easy to organize on a school campus?)

We collected a couple hundred dollars in a matter of a few hours for the 30 Hour Famine. We're on a university campus so it's bigger but there's max of 1300 students here which is still relatively small. Anyway we went around to all the offices and dorm rooms asking for spare change, you could go around to the class rooms. Also if you can't have candy sales, I'd see if purhaps you'd be allowed to sell something else like fruit :) Oh and hug-athons are good too, charge a small donation to get or give a hug to someone, the world needs more hugs anyway! well good luck!

you could possibly host a play day of some kind. Raise money by charging "donatations" upon entry and of course sell the drinks and snacks. Also think about doing a "movie night". That would work if you could get a hold of a projector or a big screen tv and sit the kids down (of course for a small fee) and let them watch whatever while having popcorn, pickles, etc. One thing we did here was paint panther paws (panther being our mascot) on the school sidewalk. For each child to have his or her name on there it is say a buck or two. That takes care of sprucing up the school AND rasing money.

Raffles are great. We raised a lot of money for Relay for Life. One of the best raffles we did was a spa package. We had local businessess donate their service (massage, pedicure, manicure, hair style, waxing, dinner for two, etc.)
You could do a movie package with dinner for two somewhere, movie tickets, gift cert. to local video store.
Do a "mother's day out" at the school. Have the students and adults babysit kids for a couple of hours while moms get the spare time.
Sell bushes, flowers, ferns, etc. Our local high school does this every spring and it does great.

All nosebleeds are due to tears in the mucosal lining and the many small blood vessels it contains. Fragility or injury may cause the tears, while inflammation, coagulation problems and other disorders may make the injury harder to repair.

Recycle can and bottles - sell reusable grocery bags any "green" resale item or recycling effort is good for the planet and great fund raiser for the school.
