Here are some Spanish words that I learned in high school, along with a complete sentence in Spanish:

eructo - burp
estupida - stupid
gato - cat
perro - dog
tiznar - smudge
loucaz - loquacious
verde - green (be careful NOT to add an "n" between the r and the d when you say this one, or you'll end up uttering a certain profanity beginning with "f" in Spanish!)
agua - water
pollo - chicken
musica - music
amigo - friend
hola - hello
adios - goodbye
donde esta - how are you?
buenos dias - good morning
buenos tardes - good afternoon
buenos noches - good night
bonita - pretty
muy - very
si - yes
no - no
perdon - pardon
por favor - please
trucha - trout
beber - to drink
comer - to eat
calle - street or sidewalk
izquierda - right
dereche - left
espanol - Spanish
ingles - English
hablo - speak
senor - Sir
senora - Mrs.
senorita - Miss/Ms
donde esta - where is

And, here's a sentence in Spanish to say if you're not really good at the pronunciation:

disculpeme por hablar tan mal el espanol - excuse my poor Spanish

Pyjama Day ~ Sunday is often (very nearly) my sturdy Pyjama Day ~ I watched some great motorbike racing from Germany and had a effective lunch and glass (or 2) of wine ~ so great day ;-)
