tapawingo has four nines, two of them are pretty good, i have only played it about two times so i don't remember which is which....i am sure if you ask, they will tell you which nines to play. forest park has been reborn and its not too bad, but it gets a lot of traffic..gateway is a flat links style golf course and half way decent...but you can't take the cart off the cart path because of the bent grass on the fairways....just how good a golfer are you....if you want a test, try wolf hollow out on hwy 44 and the new hwy 100..4 & one half miles north..or normandie on st. charles rock rd....really nice lay out and if you go there in may or june it should be in great shape. have fun.

I stay in Illinois yet in basic terms in the course of the Mississippi from St. Louis and there are some tremendous golfing courses in this area of the river. i ought to guage taking section in Spencer T. Olin (and Arnold Palmer designed direction) positioned in Alton, IL., Stonewolf (a Jack Nicklaus designed direction) positioned in basic terms North of Fairview Heights, IL., or Belk Park in timber River. All 3 are tremendous courses.
