I've got a roundish face and a bit of a large nose. My hair's kinda thick and it's straight. I want simple, sweeping side bangs, such as this picture: http://www.beautifulhairstyles.com/2005/pictures/051110camerondiaz.jpg
Nothing too dramatic. I HATE stringy bangs, but would there be extra styling involved to make them kind of "float" since I have pretty thick hair?

I have really thick hair too, so I wasnt sure about this look even though i think it loks so great. Make sure that you go to a good stylist, for one. Ask to see a portfolio with the ideas you are interested in. Any good, reputable stylist has one. Keep things thin; in you bangs, and also in the rest of your hair. You may even want to use a razor as this really thins out the heaviness of your hair. You want to use very lightweight products, especially because it will already be so easy for your hair to weigh down. The look you want will require more time and effort, but if you want it enough, I say its worth it. I love my bangs!!
