Well, what did you pray for? If you prayed for something that was not His will, he won't answer with a yes. If you keep praying for it with all faith, you may eventually recieve it, but you may be sorry. Do you read your Bible a lot? That will help you to know how and what to pray. And listen for God's stirring in your heart, so you know if he said yes or no or later. I suggest that you find a good, older christian to speak with about your questions, rather than a place like this where many people do not believe in God and will try to shoot you down. Don't listen to them. You are on the right path, never give up on your faith and hope, God will always help you! Just trust in Him! Blessings,

Are you sure you're praying the right way? The bible says to go into your closet to pray. It also says if you ask for a mountain to be moved, that it will happen. It also says that if you pray & nothing happens, then don't believe the person you're praying has any power.

Prayer doesn't work. There is nothing wrong with you.

No, not at all. Most of the time when we pray we don't realize anything has happened, when really something has. If you pray with faith and real intent God will listen. Talk to him, tell him about your day and all you are thankful for, and if you are struggling with something ask for his help and guidance. If you continue to pray you will gradually feel his guidance in your life. If you are doubting, ask him if he loves you, you may not get an answer right away or in the way you expect, but he will answer you.

Prayer is not a magic trick. Prayer is to be out of faith and based on God's word. God only answers prayers in accordance to His providence and not according to your misunderstanding. Sometimes God will answer "No" to our desperate prayers, but this should not dishearten us. We must persevere on a continual base. we must realize that the Lord gives us what we need and now what we want. When we pray for things that are outside of God's will or unanswered prayers, it means God has different plan for us. We must have faith as we live by God's rules and time line. The power of prayer should not be underestimated as it proclaims the might of God. Prayer brings Christians unto a right relationship with God and triumph over evil and hope for better tomorrow. Prayer is not a duty but a privilege.

First of all, why are you praying to Jesus instead of to God? Even Jesus prayed to God. Second, we must come to him with a pure heart. Only God can make our heart pure. Purity is not the same as morality. Morality is from the outside; purity is from the inside. Next, we must have sin removed from our life, and only God can do that. Next, we must ask according to God's will, not our own.

God is not Santa Claus. We need to be cleaned up by God. This is quite an undertaking.

Anyways, you'll come to find out that Jesus will answer you sometimes right away and sometime not right away. Be Patient w/ him as he has been w/ you. But you will know hes for real more and more when He does really neat things for you that are not coincidence. Just b/t you two. Email me sometime and I'll tell you, Jesus is cool. :)

alot of people have that problem, things we pray for just don't seem to get answered if your like me you want it yesterday and it don't always happen that fast..There are many reasons also why nothing has happened. When you pray you have to for God's will, we sometimes want things that may be wrong for us or for who ever, find out what God's will is for you by asking God, seek Him and find out what He want you to do.Then when you do and you start praying for God's will to be done in your life then you will also see the difference in how your prayers are answered..He will start showing you things, leading you to where He wants you to be at..You will start learning to speak His words to others as well..No you didn't do nothing wrong, you just need to put God's Will ahead of any and all desires that you may want for the time beings anyways, and when you do then od will give you the desires of your heart, as long as they are in God's Will...By the way Welcome to the family of God and your in my prayers and God less you much...Hope this helped you some..

no ...as long as you are righteouss, dont worry...God hears you and delivers you out from all your troubles as he said in Psalm 34:17...it depends on what we are asking him...needs? like food , waterr, clothing? all these he promised to give us...Mathew 6 : 33 Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you...just food, drink, clothing...the basic necessities of life...Elijah was fed by a bird for three years in the wilderness...did he doubt God ? NO !! he did not ask to be king of Israel..if he did , i'm sure, God would not allow that to happen ...so he would have been discouraged like us...when we ask and do not receive...on the other hand, we will face hardships in life...god did not say we would not...but in time, God will find a way out....God Bless

Jesus is not Santa Claus or the good fairy. Jesus does not grant wishes. I have no idea what you prayed for. And, if you can do something about what you prayed for, then you should do it. If not, you learn to accept that.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference

That is a good prayer for you.

yes. your praying to nothing there is no Jesus. all religion is stupid. i am a man of science. religion was first developed to explain the things that ignorant people couldn't explain. i would think that as smart as we are today all religion would be extinct. letting some dump myth rule your life is the biggest mistake you could make
