Everything we experience is in constant flux, change is part of Life. Darwin was right.
All we need do is recognise that change is a part of Life. Accepting it we change with it, ignore it and we become anxious. For example, we age. If we accept that we age then aging becomes normal and our perceptions of ageing change with our ageing appearance, ignore ageing then we become anxious that we are indeed ageing because we don't accept that it is a normal part of Life.
Accept change because change is normal. Everything changes even our perception of the phenomenon.

Well, only if the change comes before the strongest eats you.
That is fine and well for all the soulless creatures. Man's change that requires response is spiritual. A gift of unsurpassed value is offered to deliver you from an eternity without benifit of peace, love or grace. It was paid for at a horrific cost by the God of creation, and the Son He sacrificed, and all you have to do is receive it and accept Him as your Lord, which in gratitude and response to His love is an easy decision to make.
The alternative response is to refuse or simply make no choice (same thing) and die in that state. In which case you choose a place for eternity that has no evidence of God in it, which means that there is not one good thing present there. Since only good and holy things can be in God's presence, all the horrible and perverse things, including Satan and his buddies, have to be somewhere...and you picked it. If you though hard time in prison would be a nightmare... all the horrors imaginable, and then some, for eternity, without a moments rest or puase, no parole, no dieing to end it all.
What you choose here is what you choose for eternity. How do you want to respond?

I assume we're talking 'mentally' or 'emotionally' here.
I once read a book (true - it had a red cover!) that gave me such invaluable advice, I still live by it to this day.
The author said that when you come to a crossroads in life, no choice is the wrong choice. We learn something from every situation, and therefore regret is useless. There will be ups and downs no matter what you do, where you go or whom you choose to spend your time with - your mission for today is simply to learn from both the good and the bad times and understand that every lesson learned is a massive gain for the betterment of yourself.
When you begin to think like this, no choice is the wrong choice (college, marriage, family, etc) just a vista of new opportunity.
Does this help any?

Why would you want to be more responsive to change? Be very careful what change comes in your life. God said, "There is nothing new under the sun." Our generation is the most traveled in history, we run to and fro as the Bible said we would, the heathen rage, the waves roar, knowledge has increased, the Roman Empire has been revived by the EU in 1993 and Jerusalem is a cup of trembling. All eyes are on Israel as God said all of this would happen in His Holy Word, the Bible.
Charles Darwin knows nothing about eternal existence and of all scientist I consider him the most ignorant. Jesus said, "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?" This life on earth is a tiny matter compared to eternal life hereafter. If a man has not eternity in his heart, he is to be most pitied. Jesus the Christ offers eternity and life everlasting, There is no fear of death and the Lord's peace is the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Consider your Creator and Savior, Sir.
Malachi 3:6
For I am the Lord, I change not;.....
The Lord said His Word shall not pass away in Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."
You are reading the words of a person who cannot help you. Consider your Creator and Savior, Sir.

The very best answer to this question is PRAY FOR IT. Pray constantly, any time you think about it as you ride down the road, or cook dinner, or take a shower, or sit in your chair, or whatever......
Pray about what you want in you that would make you better. God says He loves you much, much more than even a parent loves a child. If he loves you much more than your mom, you are SOLID AS GOLD IN HIM!
Faith and belief in Him will result in your life with Him being full of what it is that you truly need and a lot of times, truly desire.
