Hold on. A Lortab for what? Are you in serious pain? It will NOT treat the flu, you know. Antibiotics won't help the flu, either. If you have a fever, take Tylenol or Advil only. If you have congestion, then get some medication for that. That's all you can do. It's a virus and you have to let it run it's course. 7-10 days. All you can do is drink plenty of fluids and get rest.
Lortab not going to help.

I'm pretty sure no doctor would prescribe a narcotic pain killer for the flu. I know having the flu makes you feel like crap but taking narcotics really isn't going to help with the aches, pains and general malaise that the flu brings on. Try aspirin...it has analgesic and anti-inflammatory abilities. And your right about antibiotics. The flu is a virus and antibiotics do not work against viral infections; only bacterial one.

Stay a way from the Lortab, please.

If you truly have the flu, antibiotics wont help anyways because the flu is a virus, not a bacterial infection which antibiotics are for.

It will be fine to take lortab(it may make you sick at your stomach though, especially if you haven't been able to eat much) as the flu produces many body aches. It will probably help you rest. With a virus you will have to ride it out, rest and stay hydrated it will be over in about a week.

Why would you choose Lortab, this is for pain and not the flu. I reccomend you try an over the counter medication for the flu, there are some good ones available that any Pharmacy could reccomend!

Try Aleeve instead. The Lortab will make you feel worse. (I tried it).

I would only take one if I were you. You should be alright if you only take one. You know it will make you drowsy right?
