is this normal all my symtons fit but they told me it was a very higly controlled substance. any thoughts about this, but no preaching please

More and more adults are being diagnosis with adult ADD/ADHD and Ritalin as well as Adderal are the 2 primary drugs used to manage the disease. And yes, they are a Schedule/Class ll narcotic. Morphine, Oxycontin, Adderal and also highly controlled Class ll narcotics. But used as prescribed they should pose no danger.
No preaching...if you have been properly diagnosed then this medication should help.
NOTE to Mikey: I agree about teachers and kids being over prescribed Ritalin instead of counseling and other techniques...but the Amber is 31...and I doubt in grade school!

Do not worry. First of all it is very common for adults to be diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. I am not saying this is what you were diagnosed with, but that's what Ritalin is generally prescribed for. Some people actually don't see all the symptoms and then go to see a doctor until later on in life when they begin to slow down. Your doctor should monitor you with visits and maybe even a blood test every now and then to check your chemical balances in your body. Please be sure to keep this med out of the reach of children or folks who may not know what it is and try and take it. Good luck.

Hi My son is 21 and has tried everything medical for his ADHD he has lost jobs due to his condition , He tried a supplement called Luminex made by Melaluca Inc and he is a new person . I got him some for Christmas and since such astounding results he signed up as a customer of this company so He can get it him self . I can tell when he has not taken his supplement or vitamins 21 years of Hell and he is a new creature when he remembers to take it . Ritalin made him skinny moody and frankly bazaar.

teachers are stupid right away kids get alittle hyper they tell there parent your kid need ritalin **** the teachers
