I hope that this is a sincere question. I am always glad to give a sincere answer. The second coming involves a re-entry into the clouds. The dead in Christ are raised first, and the rest of his followers are taken up with him into the clouds. If I am taken from this earth into the skies, then I will know it is Christ. He's not going to be walking around on the ground on his next trip here.

In the first place, if you went around telling people "I'm the second coming of Christ", I wouldn't believe you, because that's what lunatics or deluded people do. What reason would you have for telling me? What would you be trying to achieve?
If you really were Christ come again, I would hope to meet you, but if our paths didn't cross, it wouldn't mean a whole lot. There are 6 billion people in the world. There were several million in Jesus' day, and most of them didn't get to meet him. I'm guessing they didn't all end up in Hell (wherever that is).
People will know you from what you do. And if you were Christ, you wouldn't be going round trying to persuade people that's who you were, you would be trying to stop global warming, female circumcision, the starvation and floods and famine, the gross inequality between the rich and the poor. Yeah, I think you would have enough on your plate without an unnecessary ego trip.
So forgive me my cynicism, but I would say there was about a 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance that you might really be Christ, and I don't bother the bookies with those odds.

I see what you're getting at.
Assuming, for a moment, that Christ's return was guaranteed, would 'he' be a Jewish man from the middle east or a black woman from the US?
In a three-piece suit or jeans and tank top?
Would 'he' quote the Bible or the lyrics from
a Marilyn Manson song? Will 'he' come down on a cloud with trumpets and fanfare or like a thief in the night.
I have a set of questions that only the Christ could answer, but I can't ask them until I hear my 'cue'. The answers will be the proof I need.

"As I watched in the night visions, I saw one like a human being coming with the clouds of heaven. And he came to the Ancient One and was presented before him. To him was given dominion and glory and kingship, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away, and his kingship is one that shall never be destroyed."
Daniel 7: 13-14
There are more verses in the Bible about the second coming, but I am no expert (just a believer). It's an interesting question you ask, though.

tHERE ARE MANY EVENTS SINCE YOU READ YOUR BIBLE THAT MUST GO BEFORE YOU CLAIM TO BE JESUS CHRIST ALSO WHEN JESUS COMES EVERYONE WILL KNOW AT ONCE A NOTHER REASON. (sorry for caps) Such as what another guy said about the antichrist, the gospel must be preached to every corner of the earth, evry ear has to hear even the people living in holes and have little human contact. Armageddon must start etc.

One, and one only... The second coming has long been toted as Jesus returning to Earth, but if you read the texts carefully the suggestion seems more that the second coming will be us evolving to the next plane of awareness and 'coming' to Jesus so to speak.
And you're right, we wouldn't know him and the like the first time round, if Jesus did decide to return here (for what reason I can't imagine), the church and state would jail and execute him... I reckon he'd get one of those cosy cells down in Guantanamo...

The followers of Christ knew him for who he was and I believe that those people today that truly "know" Christ their Savior will also see him for who he is.
Having said that, there are plenty of examples of people claiming to be Jesus that get people to follow them. I just have to believe that I am one of the followers that will know Christ when I see him.
So, to answer your question, I would not believe you (or another person with similar claims) because I believe I know my Savior.
I know it's vague, but I hope that helps answer your question.

In brief, The Bible says that "Every eye shall see Him, even those who pierced Him." And Jesus spoke of His return with all th Angels and hosts of Heaven. You need more than what you're suggesting to do all that.

I don't believe in a physical second coming of Christ, I believe it is symbolic, therefore there is nothing you could say to convince me you were Jesus. (Remember, Christ is not his last name.) Jesus the man died and I dont' believe he is returning in the flesh. I believe he was speaking to his disciples (only) and telling them he would return within their consciousness. There -- I took the time to write out my answer and explain myself. Can I have two points?
